The diversity of music that is preformed on the Tiny Desk concerts is just phenomenal. From American roots influenced music, to middle eastern and Latin music, it never ceases to amaze me. These concerts just have such a genuine tone to them, thank you, NPR.

it is so cool to see a woman play bango! She brings across so much Americana, even as a Canadian! it reminds me of patchwork quilts, apple pie and summer picnics in parks. she brings alot of soul and wisdom.

This is exceptional but at the 10ish minute (the last song) hit so deep that I had to comment. I had to record my feelings as I listened. There could be no way the Father could imagine the daughter channeling so much of his past into the present imagining a better future for all nations. A future void of these tragic wars in nations that let hubris leaders internally and externally divide loving people into fighting - into personal and national states of crisis. Once we've crowned a hubris leader we're all losers because a hubris leader is driven by only one thing - power over everyone and in these crisis states everyone is traumatized by the hubris leader. This song is brave artistically in ways it may take us generations to evolve to - in ways none of us can imagine today. This is the social benefit expressive art in the form of music brings us all in my humble opinion.
