Sir, 1)If one is unable to contribute to NPS even before 5 years whether his contributed funds will be kept invested in the market till his premature closure i.e till completion of 5 years? 2) In case of preclosure whether the annuity will start immediately after 5 years? 3) In case of normal closure or premature closure whether annuity will be paid till the death of the pensioner or any age upto which the the annuity will be paid?

1. Yes. 2. You should invest atleast 1000 rs per year. Otherwise it's closed. 3. Yes. You can increase/decrease your amount every month. Like this month 1000 rs next month not inverst, next month 2000 and next month 10000 like wise. 3.

@@praveenamanickavel65 No.. Again I explain the same. If you inverst lumpsum amount 1000+ one time for the one year, the remaining months no need to pay.
