I got up at 5.30am to check on our 3 new born kittens and thought I'd check KZbin and found the video so I had to make a cup of tea and watch it. Looks like it's shaping up to be a good trip, great stuff, looking forward to tomorrow's video! All the best.

A .35 at 8 inches with the 13 " coil, this machine rocks!

Thanks for commenting, yes that gold was a clean, crisp signal at that depth and I measured the hole with the ProPointer - the gold came out of the bottom in the last chunk of clay. Axiom is very good on the small gold at good depth. Happy Fossicking! Warren.

nobody could creep up on you there Warren. Coleen was doing okay and was far more adventuresome. unlike us olde blokes. I'm getting to the stage where I couldn't walk out of sight in a fortnight.

@@Outdoor-adventures-New-zealand Too bad on the price difference. Here in N.America a GPX 6000 is 6000usd vs. 4000usd for the Axiom. In my mind the GPX 6000 is still the superior machine overall, the Axiom seems to deal with emi and iron trash heavy ground well. I want to get a 6000, but am a little reluctant after hearing of alot of QC issues on the 6000, at least here in N.America.
@Outdoor-adventures-New-zealand2 жыл бұрын
@@joetuktyyuktuk8635 yes I’ve just brought one but have herd a lot of quality controll issues from dud coils poor shafts error messages .. things I thought minelab would of addressed straight away but still seems to be a ongoing issue . Only bonus is there customer service is good but shouldn’t happen in the first place with a multi thousand dollar machine
@WildWestGal2 жыл бұрын
Well, if that wasn't a solid advertisement for why I need to buy the Axiom, I don't know what is! I just love the drone shots with that wonderful music background over that beautiful terrain. Well done, you two! Can't wait to see what the next days brought to light. Cheers from you know where (and this is serious gold country where I am in the Rogue Valley. It's everywhere (as are A LOT of active volcanoes! 🤥)

G'day Warren & Colleen, They appear to be very impressive new generation machines, the results you are getting are really good & they seem to be able to focus in on the desired search materials with pinpoint ease. I sit back & think of the old timers & all the hardship of the times that they endured, & I wonder what they would think if they could see all the mod-cons that are available to all of us modern day prospectors. The one other thing I think of & which brings a smile to my face is what their reaction & thoughts would be to all the Gold that they basically walked over & never knew was just sitting there for the taking. LOL Safe & Happy Fossicking Mate, Steve.

Hello Warren, when can we test one in victoria? Is this detector using any atx or tdi technology. Also when will they be avaliable for purchase?
@NQExplorers2 жыл бұрын
The Axiom should be out to the dealers early September. I ran it around the Whipstick in May with no issues at all. It uses Garrett’s new ‘Multi-Pulse’ technology. This is a couple of generations past ATX. Happy Fossicking mate! Warren.
@ozyprospector2 жыл бұрын
@@NQExplorers was there much EMI around in the whipstick?
@NQExplorers2 жыл бұрын
@@ozyprospector No mate I ran it around several different spots in the Whipstick and didn’t encounter any issues with EMI. The frequency scan selects from the quietest of 100 frequencies. So it settles to a very stable threshold. No problem along fence lines etc.

Ok, you sold me on it.😀 Can you do the same for my better half, PLEASE!😉 Question: Garrett Axiom (USA) states that the finer gold will only be found with the DD, my impression is that you prefer the mono, why?
@NQExplorers2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Mark. Yes I did see that where they were recommending the DD, would not recommend that personally as the mono is much more sensitive with a detection field that allows for quick pinpointing of tiny gold targets. The only down side to the mono is the Iron Check feature doesn't work with mono coils, but I tend not to use that feature anyway and 'dig everything'. Cheers mate and Happy Fossicking! Warren.

Mate, you drove past mineralised goldfields in QLD to go to Tibooburra, seriously ?? It would have to be one of the least mineralised goldfields in Australia. Try WA , QLD or some of Vic, then I might get impressed!
@NQExplorers2 жыл бұрын
Tibooburra is just a beautiful spot to visit and detect and film in that arid corner country. The Axiom has been tested in Queensland, Victoria, NSW and WA for the last few months. Runs dead quiet in the most mineralised soils like the Whipstick Forest and out around Kalgoorlie in the Eastern Goldfields. No trouble hitting gold on the first day in W.A. Thanks for watching and Happy Fossicking! Warren.
