CotA is a track not made for stock cars, which is exactly why it’s gonna be an amazing race.

I've just thought of this while watching, someone should try to paint a carset of the 2010 Nationwide Series cars on the SNG Cup 05 mod. Great video by the way.

How do we southern folks deal with the heat?....complaining. Lots and lots of complaining. All summer long (and late spring through early fall here in TX). All. The. Time :LOL: I've never tried the COTA track on NR2003 so this was interesting. I'd say they got it overall track dimensions mostly right (as much as one can without access to laser scanning) so props there; definitely some texture work to be done as they reused textures from the base game (Watkins Glen walls, etc.) but acceptable for a V1 of a track. A v2 with new custom textures to match RL would be a major improvement.

The quadruple-apex turns 16-18 was made single apex, and a lot of the kerbs are wrong, I don’t think this is the best version of this track

@@simracingmiscellaneous6287 Yeh....I definitely can't recommend TX or LA in the summer time then. If the heat isn't bad enough, the humidity makes it twice as bad. LOL

Boy oh boy this track is himmm i am a indycar fan i am a f1 fan so i will give my opinion. I think open wheel racing is good here i like to see a good f1 race but the first corner and the left right left right turn but after turn one i don't like the track at all and just think about how the trouble at the Daytona road course and the Charlotte too. I do think it's a good idea stock cars are too big and clunky to have good racing but the k&n series and the pinty series in Canada and the trucks also would be awesome here mabe even xfinity but cup is too much that is just my views on it okay f1 track good indycar track but if riverside gave nascar trouble back in the day who knows what will happen here. But in the game it looks awesome sometimes i can't even tell this game is from 2003 i will definitely use it but i can't with the indycar sadly since i don't use tap talk and i have two emails one for business one for my friends outside of work so i don't need another thing one my email but i would love to see you make a video with the 2020 indycar mod and the 2019 and 2018 one as well but thanks for the video love you stay safe and thank you for introducing me to this game a couple months ago.
@idontneedthis664 жыл бұрын
Eh, I'll give it a shot. It could very well be good racing. The cars aren't as heavy as they were in the riverside days and god knows they handle better. I've been majorly critical of NASCAR in the last decade on a lot of things, but their new willingness to try new things like COTA and the Charlotte ROVAL is commendable. Now if they'd just get rid of stages and the chase...

@@idontneedthis66 I'm not saying i am not giving it a shot we have had great road courses over the years like sears point/infinon(i think that's how you spell it lol)/Sonoma and don't forget riverside let's see what happens. and i agree as someone who was born in 2000 without the stupid the chase and the ugly ugly i mean ugly stages incredible long shot and great wins over the years because of a non forced caution can never be done again.
