I have. Not per said myself personally, but my sister marriage was just like this with her in-laws and her husband. Her first marriage and it's his second marriage. He had 5 kids from his first marriage that his ex-wife took him to the cleaners on child support. He had absolutely nothing. His parents lived with older brothers and sister in law. His SIL hated him, and his brother kicked him out. He lived with his sister, and her husband did the same as this dudes brother in law did. When my sister met her husband, he was basically living from couch to couch. She helped him start his life all over and got him back on track with his child support in order for him to get his license back. He got his life back to having a name, a home, a better job, paid all his back child support, and his relatives started inviting him and including him into their lives and homes again. But his mother and his sister were advising him and influencing him all up in his ears and telling him to divorce my sister. After three years, my sister had enough. Since they didn't have any kids together, she told him if he wanted to leave, then packed his crap and go. His mom and sister came to help him move. They divorced. As soon as he left, she changed all the locks and her phone number. She put the house up for sale and bought a new and better house. He wasn't gone more than 2 months and he's come crawling back begging but he couldn't find her for she wasn't at the same house and her number was changed plus she changed her job too. To this day he's living out of his car and he's been seen around town with divorced women with lots of children and they keep him around for a couple of weeks or months than they kicked him back out into the streets. His sister husband divorced her and married her best friend. The FIL passed away the MIL is living in a nursing home, for none of her children wanted her busy buddy bullshit. KARMA IS A CRUEL DISH.

He only used her as a stepping stool to better himself. Once, he thought he was back to having everything he forgot who helped him and pulled him out of the gutters. He got exactly what he deserved. The only good thing is that she kept her finances separated and everything in her name. Also that she didn't legally married him.
