@@dayatec No you can get everything better and cheaper, the avererage person here cant afford all those more than developed countries yes, but they are availible and cheaper and better than western countries for most things you mentioned. There is much better food culture and even high end restraunts Medicine is objectivly more availible even to the average people, and ofcourse any special medicine needed is also availible even if its not cheap. Queues aren't there based on where you go, you can avoid them if you can pay, except for when you have government office work wher eyou need to go that can be a mess. About the pollution and drinking water you are correct, but don't drink public water unless it's designated drinking water, tap water is not drinkable and its well understood so no one does it.

Hindus take care of cows so long the cows give them milk and are useful to them , but when the cows are old they are thrown out on the streets. Cows eat garbage there and nobody cares. Lot of these NRI's never consider US, UK, Australia or elsewhere their home. They don't mingle with locals, eat Indian food, wear Indian, save money all year to go to India on vacation. When they reach India then they complain that India is not like west. I have been in US for the past 26 years and I love it. I do visit India but I have no plans to move to India because I have made US my home.

I live in Canada. There is a huge amount of international students from india here. All of them look so depressed here. I think a lot of them come here thinking its heaven here but there is nothing here except h igh cost of living, bone chilling cold and depressing weather, racism, cant even afford groceries. Idk why we have it in our culture that we need to move abraod. Also when we go to other countries we behave so badly.

Already the prices in India are increasing. You need atleast 70K per month to live a decent life for a family of husband wife and 1 kid. Education is a great business. But the teachers are not well paid. The streets are not clean, waste is not disposed properly so the air is polluted. Law and order is weak so no one is following rules, especially road rules. Corporates are paying peanuts to the employees but long working hours.. But the NRIs can have a good time in India with their money

Makes total sense for the NRIs. These NRIs are planning to return after retirement by accumulating huge money abroad. They know such money has more value in India, enough to buy 4-5 huge homes, land in prime locations and still have enough for whole family and descendants to live like King. But this is terrible for existing people in India. The real reason is they are getting the refugee treatment or secondary citizen treatment in US and EU. Due to the feeling of insecurity they are thinking to return back to India. Unlike other countries, India does not have proper infrastructure for senior citizens. Retirement does not mean sitting at home. Also, the cost of living, especially in Bombay, its too high, difficult to buy or maintain a house in Khar or Bandra. But one or two key positions, they will hire an already experienced guy. Operator level no skill, if you are a lil smart and willing to work in shifts, you can get selected. shop floor supervisor and manager (probably from tier2, tier3 ) colleges or ppl who are working in a similar industry with some exp. high level manager post through head hunting and give them 30% more something like that. but what i am talking is about skill. if you are a operator you can earn only salary. if you are a carpenter, plumber you can create something and make more those are the kind of skills that are required.

Can get selfish and mean to any extent to get their way. *medical system in a way has become business. Genuine doctors who can actually diagnose and give the right care are very few= run around several hospitals for right treatments *metropolitan cities are overcrowded= health issues +heavy traffic *Television daily soas= make every relationship bitter,loaded with vengeance *people to give the right guidance are rare = lack of direction with wasteful investment of time and money *education has become too expensive = struggle for savings + wasteful investment without knowing the actual outcome. *System is still very unreliable = lack of security in life. *health care not affordable for everyone. *very poor organization in every sector. India still has a Loooooooong list of things to fix. I wish India works towards good results in the right direction to make things better for their citizens

Wrong. If someone has worked in the US for a minimum of 10 years and paid taxes, they get after retirement, social security money every month deposited into their banks. If your social security is about $ 3500 a month, you can live well in India.

This is a bit of a misleading story. Indians are returning to India in more numbers than before and that is correct - but most of them are students from Canada and Australia (among others) where there have been significant reforms to streamline post study work processes. In addition, a lot of working professionals returning home are from Canada where there has been a big political and social instability, borne from mass immigration. I don't deny that India isn't a great place for techies/skilled professionals to live a comfortable life, but to say that 'India offers better work life conditions than many other countries' as stated in this video is far from the truth, India's corporate work culture is still toxic and abrasive, infrastructure is still lagging behind, traffic can be a nightmare and tier 1 cities have additional issues related to pollution. As an expat living overseas, despite the issues plaguing these countries (US, Canada, Aus, NZ etc) - there is still a case to be made about having a much better quality of life overseas.
