About Mughal-e-Azam
Mughal-e-Azam is a tale of eternal love that threatened an empire, told in a musical style. With intricate direction, spectacular choreography, magnificent costumes, artistic production design, and innovative use of technology, Mughal-e-Azam revisits
old themes with a modern touch. The classic Mughal-e-Azam directed by K. Asif was one of the most ambitious projects in the history of Indian cinema, and certainly paid off for all the hurdles that came in its production, for the movie was so successful that to this day, people associate the term Mughal-e-Azam with the film more than they do with Emperor Akbar himself.
Based on the classic, the Broadway-style musical does absolute justice to the original. It has swept 7/ 14 Awards at the Broadway World India Awards 2017.

But what is new ? What is new creation & craft ? Just the actors , period ! It is all copied from the original great great movie Meghan e Azam . Each dance step is exactly the same from the original movie. We watch both simultaneously and enjoy more . Of course the Remake is brilliant work of Feroz Khan and entire team . While it is colorful; the synchronization is horrible. I think it has lots of room for improvement; but most US/UK audience have mediocre taste and all they are looking for something new to go an watch, so may not nothing needs improvement.
