As Vossy said, that Cobbo try was outrageous!!! Don’t you just love seeing talent like that on display!! Not only the skill, confidence and dare to put that chip chase in when down on the scoreboard with < 15 mins to go, but the endurance to keep your arm elevated to avoid a double movement 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Brilliant try, and backed it up with another to seal the match. Thrilling match and another electric crowd and atmosphere 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

According to Rugby League Project this is the first NRL/Rugby League game played at The Gabba since the 1960s when Great Britain played Queensland.

Qld played GB at the Gabba in 1954. On the 1962 and 1966 GB tours, all Brisbane matches were played at Lang Park. On the 1958 tour all Brisbane matches were played at the Ekka. The last international RL match played at The Gabba was Aust v NZ IN 1956. Thd 1957 BRL grand final was the last RL match played at The Gabba before this weekend.

What a brilliant game between two great teams. It could have gone either way, but the Broncos are a class act this year, and at the Suncorp stadium they don't give up easily and are very hard to beat. I am from England, and the Broncos have always been my favourite Australian Rugby league league team. I had the privilege of visiting this ground 4 years ago with my daughter while visiting my nephew's on the gold Coast. It was awesome, and to get photos with the statues outside the ground with some of the legends that have played for the Broncos is something my daughter and I will never forget. Come on ye Broncos, let's have another title this year 😊 👍 👏 👏

That isn't Suncorp it's the GABBA where the Lions and Heat play. It's a couple of kilometres away from Suncorp. It's a good stadium to watch a game though Suncorp is bettee

The one thing I'm just not getting in today's game, is the short drop out when you are 4 in front. The Broncos invited the Dolphins back into the game with a short dropout which resulted in the score going from 14-10 to 16-14. Cobbo's try of the year came down to a bit of luck and circumstance as nothing else seemed on. The result definitely could have gone either way and, no matter what, the Dolphins should be pretty proud of their first season.

Farnworth and Cobbo played outstanding! I do feel sorry for Reynolds as he hasn’t been getting as much conversions, which is why we nearly losses the game. There also have been some whacky calls made by the line judges themselves. Three times the Dolphins were over the sideline and somehow they stayed in? I’m questioning all referees and the Bunker that they should keep their jobs or not. Great win for Broncos though. The Dolphins were putting up a mighty match

Why would Kevvie pick smoothie over paix? The guy lacked awareness around the ruck and was slow out there. Paix used to come on as a spark off the bench but smoothie is just a slower version of an already slow Billy walters.

The Dolphins didn’t deserve to win because of their mistake rate, but geez, the officials need to review some of their ordinary decisions like disallowing the Dolphins first try, missing a Bronco knock on when the Dolphins were pressuring the Broncos and a few others. Pretty ordinary.
