This year hes been pretty consitent. Espeically defesivnely. He mainly hasnt had as many great attacking moments cause Reyno has been out and he wasnt gettung quality ball. PLus cobbo was carving earlier in the year and most of the attack was going his way

When I first saw Staggs play I thought that he was going to actually be worthy of the Ch9 commentators 'superstar' tag [that they apply to anyone of a darker shade as blokes like Mitchell, Cody Walker and Golden Boy Walsh] so was disappointed to see that he's as inconsistent as, well, as inconsistent as the other 'superstars' like Mitchell, Walsh and Walker. If Staggs played week in week out like he did against the Cowboys he'd be the first name picked for the mighty NSW Blues.

Hate to be the one praising a Cowboy who's also a Maroon but credit where it's due; Deardon seems to always be there in defense. He's one player who puts in 100% effort game in game out. What a shame that the same can't be said for Staggs, who had a blinder yesterday, who will probably turn up next week to have a bludge because he's not in the mood to play to his full ability and the stars are not aligned.
