Panthers not being back 10m has absolutely nothing to do with the call. You don't see refs stopping play on a regulation 20m restart because the defensive team aren't back onside.

@@cloudsssssssssssssssss yes it does. look at the rules for optional restart. both players need to be onside. so therefore, the penalty was the wrong call. and edwards being far more offside negates the storm offside 0.5 metres. and the initial challenge was for the tap which they lost, then edwards calls him offside and yes at kline then kline tells the bunker to check it. just one of many errors from kline. the incorrect sin bin of nelson which initial contact was the back and slides up, play on. later in the game anderson has to leave because he gets hit in the head with a shoulder no sin bin for panthers. no sin bin for the professional foul on pap.

Storm were supposed to get the ball back and tap instead he gave Panthers free 2 points. He ignore a leg lift by a Panthers forward just after half time, sent NAS to the bin for absolutely no reason, he didn't even send Mitch Kenny for 10 for a dangerous high shot on Anderson. Try to watch the game without being one eyed. Embarrassing!

That was a tough win from a tough side with a great coach. Penrith play the same gameplan every week and it usually works but they are now so predictable a fully committed strong side can defeat them. Am no fan of the Storm but that was a great performance and they can get better don't know if Penrith can.

Contentious call went both ways and Munster was off for the same period as Cleary so it was fair overall. Can't complain since dodgy calls went against both sides. Penalties went the way of Penrith for most of the game before it almost evened out...

You can't underestimate a team just because they are lower in the ladder as they needed time to tinker on who plays where along with building combinations which takes time and finally clicked.

Panthers won last years Grand Final from 2 Goal Line short drop outs that went badly for Broncos. In this game they do a Short Kick and give up a try in the next set of 6.
