As a former PNG expat, I have lots of concerns, Security is going to be much tougher than they realise, local revenue is finite and after hours or any hours lifestyle activities for players and families will basicly be by themselves. People go to PNG to work for money and close to no tax. Not to party. The party is a plane to FNQ if your looking for that. You want to get that squad and their families together way way before they lob in PNG, possibly a season or two. I just can't see a forever where players and wifes with young kids are going to be keen to live there. I had a great time in PNG, but I was a single bloke, in Madang with a mate from Terrigal there. Out of the whole world the Chinese company chose two Central Coast blokes. You won't be seeing any nail polish in that squad. You will need to fill it with Mercenanries there for one purpose. Cash, and make winning worth extra cash if you want any sort of success.

A great catcher can make a average pitcher look like a champion. Catchers get more strikes than pitchers with glove speed. They just don't catch a ball at 100 mph, they drag it back into the strike zone in 1 movement as well.

Men, I was there for 1 election. Candidates throw 1 kina notes off the back of flat bed trucks. When Rabaul blew everyone got a new boat or a new vehicle when relief money arrived. Corruption is the 2nd national sport. It's all very dodgy. Will uncle Peter V end up with a government Attache gig as well. Could we end up with a China team as well.
