Best 4 games in the last 12 months, last years grand final and the three games from this year's state of origin series. Why? because the ref let the games run and didn't blow stupid penalties which reduced the interjection of the bunker. The game we love is being destroyed.

The game today is being played for the benefit of the league, who is afraid of lawsuits in the future, either the coaches start retraining the players to tackle properly or they start playing in head gear, because to many important games are being played with teams playing with 12 players.

1. No sin bins for unintentional head contact. No matter what the force. (are the sin bins reducing the amount of concussions and will they? NO>>> 2. Replace all Category 1s with a fresh reserve. 3. If you stay down, you get assessed off the field 4. Waivers to be signed by all players removing litigation from the NRL. 5. NRL to invest more in concussion protection such as headgear which there are types out there that reduce impact on the brain.

It's a balance. Should a team who has lost a concussed player be penalised while the one who illegally caused the problem gets off Scott free? Eg. Stephen Creighton. Not a dirty player, but still should have gone. That would give the lunatics open slather in the finals to take out the best players in the opposition. Eg Hargreaves. We want to see the best players on the field doing their stuff. .

Notice how a coach complains about the judiciary when they have lost a match but not so when they have won one. Also commentators making these statements but if the judiciary complies and someone is seriously injured then they will be the first to complain. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t!

Don’t get rid of the bins but raise the threshold, give all the retired players a part time Job to review the suspected bin worthy penalties.

Sad part for the tigers is the loss of players, Stefano is off to the storm for a lot less money than wests offered, for example. What chance have the lower placed teams when the wealthy privately owned clubs can poach their young stars.

No … the head high tackles and the foul play is. I’m actually glad sin bins are being used properly again because have a dual purpose they are judiciary referrals AND an “in game punishment ”. We’ve never NOT had sin bin and send offs but in the 90s and 00s when they just put everything “on report “ the concussions and spilled blood, high shoots was out of control and players could feel free to belt each other in the head attempting to put players out of games knowing that it would have very little bearing on them today except for a penalty against their team and benefit of a 5-10 minute rest waiting for hurt players to recover or be stretchered off and the offending players are free to finish out the game even if the injured player cannot return. Of what use to the todays opponents is a post game suspension.??!! Nothing,. The team awarded the penalty ends up a man down or reshuffling the lineup while the other only give up 30 yards and a fresh set of 6. Hardly fair is it ??!! It also got quite ridiculous seeing referees really agonise over ever using the bin (which they never did) condoning even for the most awful high shots that would result in 4-6 week suspensions.

If you set victory in everything you do as something that's not negotiable it eventually becomes the standard. Congrats - this may be the end of Penrith's chance at a 4 -peat.

Don't forget the storm game was decided by a couple of 50/50 calls and the raiders game was decided by a dumb pass by Romey. The panthers have had their first choice spine for just 5 games all year. See what happens? Up the Panthers!!!!

If the game does not reduce the quantity of head high hits then the game will slowly die as mothers do not let their children play a game they feel might damage their brains in the future. It is that simple. If you can`t see that then maybe you took a few too many head high hits in your playing days and it has impacted your cognitive capacity.

Australians, please do not allow your government to force a NRL team on PNG. we PNG dont want a team right now, we know we are not ready. Our govt are looking to use the team as a political tool. If you love your footy, Australians, dont allow the PNG team. PNG doesnt want a team

Boycott the games! Keep the stadiums empty until the officiating is equal for all teams! Not just the for the team s with the most representative players! Just because they have players representing NSW, QLD and The Kangaroos should NOT mean they get special treatment! Make it fare or go broke!
