I actually enjoyed the 20 or so minutes when they were attacking constantly. The defense was calm, tenacious and ferocious. Pereira didn’t have a great defensive game, with a few poor choices, but the way he cleaned up guthurson was gold.

Agree. I thought reyno would turn us into a top 8 team. But honestly capewell is a massive buy I under appreciated. He’s a legit leader in the forward pack, the steel in the defence. So both the buys have done so much to fix the seibold fiasco that should never have been. Walters too.

I think a good analysis of Brisbane’s strength comes from a look at which players didn’t play… gamble, Walters, Kennedy, Hoskins, hoerter plus the returning cobbo and te mare Martin. Pity herbie is gone for the season, but brenko looks great. I know staggs didn’t get any meat pies, but his aggression in defense and attack make things happen. I wonder what’s going to happen when Martin is back… we’ve got two excellent fullbacks.

Both obstruction calls by the bunker were wrong. Parramatta scored that was a fair try and the one against Reynolds was a joke. The guy who got obstructed got both hands on Reynolds and dropped off. Both should have been tries.

I'm islanders as Fijian, I played full back and winger. To straight to you sivo, I don't think you good enough for that position. You still don't understand that position as a winger is called a game finisher. You just stand there like a full back. To tell you the truth, if I was a coach I pull you out from that position and throw you in the middle of the forwards. You got that frame but you don't have the hearts.
