You say he is entertaining, I say he is an embarrassment. This is the guy who abused and threatened the referee the day after Australia lost a World Cup final to New Zealand. Yeah, really entertaining. A coach is supposed to inspire his players and be an authority figure they can respect; all Stuart ever does is teach his players that it doesn't matter if you lose, as long as you can find something to use as an excuse. Between the Roosters, Parra, Cronulla and Canberra, Stuart has missed the finals 11 of the past 15 seasons, but racked up $120k in fines insisting that it's always someone else's fault. Anyone else with his record would be long gone.

This was just his way of avoiding the fact he lost to a weakened panthers team, at home, when Raiders needed it and Panthers didn't... not to mention the crying last time they met when the Panthers ruffled Tapine after scoring a try. Seriously, your team has just had its season ended with a whimper, and a professional coach thinks it's appropriate to let fly over a ten year old personal agenda? Canberra deserve better. Stuart is just an angry little man who should have been fired years ago. He has missed the finals 11 of the last 15 years despite having multiple chances with four big clubs. Any other coach with his record would have been sacked years ago, but Ricky bluffs people into thinking that because he talks angry he must know how to coach. Remember, this is the same coach who lost the World Cup Final with Australia, and then abused the referee and called him a cheat in front of witnesses the next day. What a class act.

@@daleviker5884 This is not true. It's a lot deeper than that. I knew of this situation back when it occurred. I was a ref in shire from 2009 to 2018. Not going to go into it here, but it is pretty foul what Salmon did and said even at that age (for context Sticky's daughter is autistic to give you a bit of a clue). Sticky should not have said what he said in the press conference though. Definitely let his emotions get the better of him. I can't say I would have did any better, god knows how I would have reacted if my family went through that.
