When are these Island 'named' teams going to stop stealing players from NZ and Australia? Out of the 17 players for the Samoan 'named' team in this match, 6 were born in NZ and 8 were born in Australia. Only 3 actually born in Samoa. I haven't looked at the Tongan 'named' team yet, but it'll be the same.

There still Samoan and Tongan mate ….and that’s coming from a kiwi
@99waylon Жыл бұрын
@@sheldonwilson4450 No issues with that at all, but people go on and on and on about how NZ and Australia steal Samoans and Tongans to play for them. Just making a point. PS: They may be Tongan or Samoan but I bet they all have NZ and Australia passports and therefore are NZers and Australian, just as much as I am.

@@99waylon Mate, the reason everyone says that about AUS and NZ stealing players is because it's true. You can't just look at teams within the last half-decade and cry foul, when both countries have done so as a literal legacy. Look at any championship team of any series or cup, international or domestic, from both countries and tell me how many were from smaller polynesia... you'd be hard pressed to find even a handful of lineups comprised of 30% or even 25% of AUS or NZ born players. Also a major reason newer generation players are AUS or NZ born but have different polynesian heritage is for the exact reason mentioned above; they get born there due to past generation islanders having moved there. Let alone the fact that people, polynesians especially, are tied more to inherited and cultural roots than national ones.

@@jekim7864 Absolutely no difference in the point I'm making. The Samoan and Tongan teams keep stealing NZ and Australian players. FULLSTOP!!!!!!

Impressionnant les kiwis ! En plus il leur manque quelques joueurs très importants !! Il ont de quoi dominer les prochaines années ! Bravo à eux !!

NZ have been hard done by in the rugby league world cup the Kiwis lost by 1 to the Kangaroos with an australian ref officiating and in the rugby union world cup the All Blacks lost by 1 to SA down a player for about an hour due to a red card.
