I remember some people saying the storm didn't stand a chance this year after losses to the bulldogs and titans then a lackluster game against the tigers. A good team builds through the year and now sitting on 3 wins in a row and quite a convincing one on a rainy night against what should be good opposition. not saying they are gonna win the NRL this year... but you definitely shouldn't say they won't!

Totally agree. As usual the incompetence of the officials can influence the outcome of games, however, lucky it didn't in this instance. The one thing in rugby league that is consistent season after season is the inconsistency with the officiating. It's a pity they can't send themselves off for ten during a game..

NRL should do better with their highlights as they failed to show one of the best moments. At the 27th minute from a scrum, Cam Munster beat three defenders in a set line that led to the Storm's second try.

Seriously some of the sheer skill in the backs moves to score those tries on both sides, many micro adjustments and working out the gaps, timing and space... incredible skill. I bet a lot of Union players just don't get League because they don't see the sheer skill involved in these moves? Awesome skill and tactical execution. Idk what happened with the sin-bin but what did it for the Chooks was those bombs that led to a couple of tries and out-of-sight. Storm suddenly gelling and not looking so ragged since they've lost a lot of big names from last year. Not a fan of watching Su'aalii still playing while he's already off to Union tbh. Sure it makes sense for him to go after the money but it feels like watching someone who's watching their bank balance more than their League and that's the natural outcome imo. Not baiting or s-stirring just no excitement seeing the same player now after that choice. As Gus said, just go.

Union skills are worlds apart to League. RL just has simple skills really. Warbrick is an example. Learnt all his skills in Union then is the starting wing a year later. Too easy

I'm a Roosters supporter but they are no way as strong as when the won the premiership with Cronk. Hutcho and Collins are way overrated and I can see them buckling as the season progresses and the gun sides find their form.... sure no Tupoe or fullback back I just can't see them living up to the hype... I hope I'm wrong....

Hutchinson can't defend at the center position, his feet are just too slow but he is a good defender at 5/8. Collins is 1 dimensional but solid.

@@Jp-do9ny I don't think so he has the runs on the board. I just don't think the Roosters have the right scouts out there. We seem to have a lot of 1 dimensional players. I would really like to see some of the players go to the next level, Nate Butcher could well do, Sam Walker could, but they are still not there. There is no one of the calibre of Sonny Bill, big ask I know, but you get my drift, Walker is by no means as good as Cronk, I know these are examples of the past but Keary is getting on as is Hargraves and many of the others just aren't stepping up, Manu and Sualli the exceptions....

It was a good game up until 8-6. Then Klein decided to take the game into his hands. Way to give all the momentum to one side and drain the opposition of any hope. The manipulation in Melbourne hasn’t changed since smith retired either always at the refs for a penalty complaining about everything. Sad to win that way.

Roosters completion rate wasn't anywhere near close to storm and you say he won them the game did you not see how many errors Roosters made they just shut down the entire game ref calls can't justify their performance they just weren't hungry enough for the win.
