kevin walters needs to have a tough conversation to reece walsh,he is getting to big for his own boots. the broncos didnt have to work as hard as they did. if walsh and even mam and to an extent, had they played with patience !!! ie, if its not on then don't force it. things would be different. Now we lost reynolds for the season, im not blaming walsh for that but had we had played a patient more composed game, picked our opportunities, not force things. I believe the score would have been very different and we walk away a healthy team. This team is one of the most athletic in the game, the most dangerous but also lack maturity and composure tut tut. I also believe Walters should have kept reynolds off another week or 2 no need to rush him back. the team was building just fine

The difference is May and Walsh had an accidental head clash. While mariner used his shoulder and made a head contact to Tedesco, and failed to wrap his arm around Tedesco . So it's a shoulder charge. Shoulder to head contact is also high tackle, it's different from head clash. Head clashes are accidental almost everytime

@@DailyDozeOfFact Mariner's contact is totally an accident, he's rushing up but the ball is loose causing him to turn and brace, meanwhile Teddy is flapping and falling over... it's not a shoulder charge, full stop. Pause at 3:09 it's actually a head on head contact the same as May/ Walsh. Difference is Walsh gets a broken cheekbone, subbed off and a few weeks out injured while May gets nothing; Mariner gets a binning and Teddy isn't even given a HIA. May's is worse because he goes in to the tackle fully upright when he should be crouched; Mariner's is just an accidental rugby incident. Anyway the logic doesn't add up. What's the yellow for? Dangerous foul play? If it's dangerous, then you award the card, but the 'victim' must go for a HIA. Otherwise how was it dangerous? And how was May's not dangerous - a high tackle is a high tackle and whether you make contact with your own head or shoulder is neither here nor there.

Reynolds needs to retire, he is a massive liability now, he’s a great player but he is aging and far too injury prone. He’s either out of the side or when he plays he’s carrying an injury. If he plays beyond 2024 it’s too risky for the Broncos, they need to blood in a new young halfback. Other than that the game was close and entertaining but when Reynolds got off then the sin bin then Mam off for HIA the Broncos lineup was all over the place and Roosters as good as they are it was easy pickings by then and they just ran away with it.
