I thought Tonga was going to win quite comfortably given their major successes before this tourney. I was surprised Samoa won and deservedly so as they played quite well. Even more surprising is the fact Samoa topped the pool without a loss. Sunday eve - January 9, 2022.

I don’t know if they are the team to beat … NZ beat them in 2018 BUT I will admit that they did something no other island nation has done, and that had to be respected ….
