Very disappointing Cleary being sent off, ten minutes off and leave it to the judiciary! At least allow a replacement player, this is professional football, why should the other team mates be punished for the mistake of one man and why should the Penrith fans be punished also, this is a tragedy. I’m not a fan of either team, just love the game. Don’t want to see anyone hurt either but it’s the nature of the game and these errors these days are not intentional as in the old days. Should always be an equal number of players on the ground. My heart goes out to this young man, he’ll be needing a lot of support around him at this time.

So what happens when a player drops the ball? Doesn't that also affect the teammates? What about penalties and missed tackles? Don't they also affect the team? Yeah their mistakes and this was a mistake, but you can't not punish the player without it hurting the team. It's a team sport. Absolutely a send off, he drove him into the ground and it's been consistent throughout the year.

This is an absolutely brain dead take. He had one of the worst spear tackles in recent memory, a genuine, textbook spear tackle. Send off all day every day. "Why should team mates be punished for the mistake of one man" so by this reasoning, you also want penalties, sinbins and such removed? Look at the early one by Reed on Edwards, that's a penalty. Cleary's is genuinely horrible.
