I’ve just noticed Gus in every interview always states a negative doubt so when his team loses ie NSW he comes across as smartest person in the room, such a negative presence for NSW. Gus and Freddy such ppl for NSW. I got the sense Freddy wasn’t upset when NSW lose face when he was sacked. Go Madge great team just unfortunate played 1 man down near entire game no side would win that at the pace and level of origin. I’ve seen top tier NZ. And SA in union lose bottom tier countries when a red card occurs in the game

I’d bring in Cody as half and Keary as 5/8. They bring EXPERIENCE and the ability to break games open. Both can attack, great kickers, great defense, old hard heads that can go up a gear in rep footy. Bring Mitchell back in, another game breaker. The forwards need to be re-jigged and DONT see room for the new captain… Origin needs mongrel talented forwards… Jakeys too nice a guy…. We all have our own opinions so will be interested to see what Madge does….. prove us wrong Madge, prove us wrong………..

His got two Churchill Medals, 3 grand final wins, and lead the biggest comeback in Grand final history. He loses at origin to Cherry evens, Munster and Ben Hunt, three of the best halves in the comp who all have more experience than him. All of them have played with Thurston, Slater, Smith and Cronk. I think it's only a matter of time, that Cleary starts to Dominate in origin.

40:37 the real benefit Queensland has is when DCE and hunt retire. Walsh will have 6-9 origins to his name. Munster and grant with have near 20. Ponga has near 10 origins and Dearden will be 4 games in and mam will have near a half a dozen camps. That’s a lot of experience to replace the leaving experience.

Moses is the most overrated half. He needed Kody Walker to carry him last year. He has 0 spark, and he's clearly a tosser. You can say what you want about Hynes, but at least he nearly got Lenu under the posts and Kicked Lomax a try. I think half the problem is that those QLD' ers are never onside. He has no time to kick because they are offside every other play. There was also several times Hynes had nobody around him running for the play that isn't good enough at Origin to have your half looking around for players to pass to and everyone's ball watching.

The comp is weak in this era, most teams barely have 3-4 real strong key players if they are lucky, hence it's easy to be a super hero in club land, if you put together 5-6 like panthers you can win a comp, therefore the comp is not developing origin type players anymore, especially for nsw,their only way they can win is with thugs and dogs and a game plane to maim and injure players, latrell has done more damage intentionally and recklessly to other players, the game itself and culture if nsw and souths than any other player in the past 50 years...nsw will pick him out of desperation because the competition is weak, out if 17 teams there is not one other good centre out there ..my arse..., nsw need someone who can injure and maim players without a conscience.lm is the man to revive the series...

As a australian 100 200 400 meter champion through school. The key to speed is relaxing I broke my record an the school record on a day when I wasn't even taking it serous anymore my fastest was 12.2 seconds. All year long then I did a charity run before the aus championship an I was relaxed just chilling no real stakes on the line an I ran 11 flat. Never did I get it again I got it down to 11.5 seconds for 100m in the championship
