Thank you Wes. The nice comments are always appreciated. There's still lots more to come. I'm equally appreciative that you and others are enjoying the music and visual performances. That's what makes it worthwhile.

I visited with Grace and her new husband a few weeks ago...they live in Prairieville, La, a little town outside of Baton Rouge. Grace was very cordial and she looks fantastic for her age...she seems like she's ready to go back on stage! We all laughed and had some good ole stories...I told her I'm writing a book about her days of Swamp Pop in the 60's in Baton Rouge and the famous Montel Recording Studios...Good Luck Grace and I still love you! I so love watching this! It's a totally different thing from the singers nowadays.. Now it's all about being sexy and tough. Dale and Grace both seem so sweet and lovely!

Yeah basically no class in modern pop music. Kind of depressing in a way represents how much people have changed over the decades.

I will lie if I say I don't listen to modern pop music, but I prefer the sweet love songs over anything!

This is so nice to see a video of Dale and Grace. I also live in the area they are from. I'm sure many remember Jimmy Clanton as well. My friends and I used to dance to his music at a little place on the Washington highway outside of Opelousas , La. Im thinking a lot of great talent has come out of Lousiana and we thank you for sharing their music with us.

Just to say, I am 64 English guy. When i was a teenager pop music of the time was so important to me. I knew very little about American music, with the exception of very big names like , The Beach Boys, Bobby Vee ect ect. Your uploads are great! So many good singers that i can now enjoy. thankyou.

Lovely, it is also worth listening to Virginia Lee's version of this beautiful song. Virginia Lee's version was a very big hit for her in South Africa, in the seventies. Also posted on KZbin

They were probably not paid attention to much due to the facts that: a) "I'm Leavin' it Up to You" was the last hit record before the JFK assassination and the sorrow afterward; b) The Beatles were all over the place on the charts. NOTE: The last thing before the film cut-off was about a new breath mint, Certs.

Indeed, what a wonderful song, performed by wonderful singing partners! Clean, melodious, talent. A terrific example of music class ... especially when compared to today's prevalent trash [albeit there is, thankfully, some definite exceptions and excellent artists / music]. BTW, does this particular song classify as country or R&B? Great video, many thanks! EDIT: Just found out the style is called 'Swamp Pop'. Still, very nice.

They had their big moment: a huge, #1 record, "I'm Leaving It All Up To You," in late '63 and a Top 10 follow-up hit, "Stop, and Think It Over." But, like so many other American pop music artists of that time, they were swept away by the tsunami that was The Beatles and the British Invasion.
