Sorry for all the questions but just confirming if you do it the “archive” way it’s going to erase system settings on the Nord and they will be replaced with your settings as we’re effectively restoring a backup that you have done on your machine?

That's correct- I HIGHLY recommend backing up your Nord before doing this obviously, but if you do that it's a really quick way to swap in patches without much fiddling.
