@@karlharvymarx2650 Things like that aren't really new. There have been a lot of people recording their suicides on video since the 90's. When I was a kid back then, one of the neighbour's boys shot himself on video right after talking about a few things that seemed to be the reason for his decision. His dad immediately called my dad, who was a police officer and former combat medic, but this boy knew what he was doing. There was no chance in hell of saving him. His family wasn't able to watch the video afterwards and asked my dad if he could take care of it till they are ready to do so. My dad keeps it in his attic to this day. There was some scenes where the problem could've been solved if they were just clear with each other or questioned the actions of one another during the scenes. Playing hero is no joke, and I think this video translates that wonderfully. It just sucks because both just wanted to do the right thing (if you excuse beating the crap out of someone) and pretty much ended up killing one another. It's a gray world. The fear of uncertainty, trust, and motive to find the truth plagued those men (in retrospect the community of that area) to quickly act upon each other without thinking. Definitely leave it to the professionals to do the work. There's more this video likes to touch on, but it's late...lol I was looking for horror videos to watch at 2:00 am. xD Side note: Camera work, acting, props, and everything was beautiful!

I think this is my favourite Screamfest short yet! Brilliant because something like this could have (possibly has already?) happened in real life.

Title doesn't match up with the story much but really great film, really important ideas.
@eliseisabella32406 жыл бұрын
the title does match up with the story.. NSFW-Not Safe For Work. He is a blogger trying to expose online paedophiles, and the way he is doing it isn't exactly safe. Dude got himself killed, all for work as a blogger trying to get famous.

The quality of your shots in your film are astounding. I almost got dizzy when the camera spun in the woods. Keep it up.

I loved when people bring the horror of paedophilia to light. Great short film!!!!

Well done! Loved the twists and turns and the comment, "The victor gets to write the history of the war." In addition, the hunters became the prey and lastly, the road to h- - - is paved with "good" intentions!
@karolinarychold29306 жыл бұрын
Where is this good intention? Hiden faces you see at the end.
@karolinarychold29306 жыл бұрын
I believe in intention...IT was Vegeance and Vanity.
@psr04595 жыл бұрын
Yep, but you're missing that the cameras recorded the 1st man's dying words. When the police recover it all, watch the videos they'll uncover the 2nd guy lied & that will make him the #1 suspect paedo. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions" Nice Twist

Thanks for another good short!

God that twist really hit hard. That realization that he wasnt the enemy at all, instead he was there for the exact same reason (minus becoming famous) and I’m so disappointed that he wasn’t honest.

This is brilliant...sometimes you get what you want, only to find out it's not what you expected, and fame does you no good when you're dead!
@nicolewilliams77025 жыл бұрын
So much symbolism and esoteric drops in this ..it was like literally being slapped in the face with the veil as it dropped!
@VaBeachBeach29716 жыл бұрын
Even though they both died won’t the world still know exactly what happened because at the end it shows the old mans camera recording the old man calling him a pedo.
@darci46234 жыл бұрын
Finally, someone saw that and mentioned it. Yes, the world will see everything and his fame won't be for what he wanted.
@ajaiy4 жыл бұрын
I thought the younger guy used the camera to replay the footage. the camera wasn’t recording after that.
@khanyikhanyez3064 жыл бұрын
But the old man wasn't shouting and the camera was pretty far, how do we know the camera picked up what he said?
@hansolo6312 ай бұрын
@@khanyikhanyez306 if he's running a pedosting it will be obvious what people he's having conflict with won't it? You don't need the commentator audio on to tell you if a guy in trunks in a ring with the undertaker is a pro wrestler right?
@marcd198111 ай бұрын
This was very well done. The photography in the forest was amazing, it made it look almost 3D. Only one mistake, though...everyone knows you never get cell service in the woods, that's how everyone dies! Excellent job, Happy New Year's weekend! Everyone stay safe out there!

Holy shit! What a job guys. Can’t tell what’s better either cameras’ movement and all wood photography or the script itself which is one of my favorite topic, humans and their contemporary issues. This is the real“titans fighting”

Watching this all I can think is damn those are some expensive cameras to be leaving out in the damp woods.

Beautifully Black! Every human being is an apex predator at some degree of latency. Hunting pedophiles for publicity... dark! And was the truth of their encounter recorded on video camera? So, both mens' undertakings are expressions of misunderstanding, malice and futility! The woods are gorgeous. The 360 view! Man, this is a great film! Cheers to every one involved!

Awesome. Thriller from start to finish. The monsters praying on innocent people aren't always obvious. This film makes use of that fact in a unique way.

That... was horrifyingly original and something a lot of us have though about doing to anyone that would harm children. Well played

I think the scariest part of the story is how much value the online world holds for us. That rather than call for help, he live tweeted his own death. It's terrifying.

99.9999% of these short horror films on KZbin are completely cliche, predictable, lazily-written, lame trash. This was a diamond in the rough. Really, really good.
