As a father, who sometimes plays Go, with a 9 year old, who lives for screens, I relate to this video so. damn. much.

Teach him to play Go? That could make a great video series!

The real question is if Nick has the temperament to let the kid make his own mistakes in a DDK game... The stress that comes from watching someone do something that you know is wrong.

Seems like a good kid, definitely would like to see him learn Go.

When they're old enough to tell them to f-off, they won't want much to do with you and you'll be sad. Enjoy these days while they last!

What a joyful video. Tired dad but good dad :) Mr. Beckett was a dutifully professional co-host. There's a creative and curious mind in that cranium already. Bridge and dungeon game!

Parenting is an adventure. Have considered painting him green and then dressing him in green? His school might not understand, but we would.

Never... I have an 11 and a 3. It never ends. When I want to spend time, she wants nothing to do with me, when I want to do my own thing, then she's all over me. It's... I love my kids, I absolutely do, but yeah... I get you.

Nick I'm new to your channel and I came to hear you talk about go strategy and your decisions. However, you seem to talk more about your family. It's nice that you have friends here, but I don't know you and don't have time to hear about family of people that I don't know. Anyway, just providing feedback. If all your other videos are like this I'm not sure I can watch them.

Hi @fredsmit3481 ! I'm sorry this one wasn't for you, I assure you that they are all not like this. However, I do suggest checking out @Dwyrin's videos for more focus on the moves/strategy of the game! Cheers!

@@NickSibicky Nick, thanks for the suggestion. I watch Dwyrin and BadukDoctor. BadukDoctor is amazing. I think that is why youtube recommended you.

Fwiw I watch a lot of your videos so I liked the personal touch. To the commenter, I would suggest watching Nick's lecture series vids for a more formal format.
