I watched and realized that Gadasu was on the wrong path. His statement was concluded with "is equal to SEVENTY FOUR..." which was simultaneous with the quiz mistress's "that's incorrect. Who rang next?" 40:23. Gadasu was playing delay tactics to afford them sometime to ascertain the correct answer. And even, the quiz mistress expects an ANSWER, so to read out the question again would make her think that is the answer you are giving. REQUIRED ANSWER: Seven hundred and fifty eight million, six hundred thousand.

that's all..... that's exactly what happened! I am a Perscoba and I was furious when I saw the short clip at first but after watching the video in context several times I arrived at the same conclusion you have up there! However, they did ring the bell on a different occasion and claimed they didn't.... That one was wrong but the game continued till we drew tie and lost subsequently..... we lost gracefully so I am ok.... What really matters is giving your best and that's what the boys did!

Kobe Ewusi we didn't press the bell. The system had a bug the bell went off own its own and primetime kniws it. That's why they woman was quick to agree when we said we didn't ring.

42:54 is where St Peter's rang their bell to answer, and this was about 1 second (42:56) before Mfantsipim's bell rang, so we cannot call this a simultaneous rings of the two bells. If NSMQ producers realize that a 'malfunction' caused St Peter's ring to trigger the bell of Mfantsipim's?

if they had indeed rang the bell, it would have shown in front of the screen at their table and also on top of the wall. but i did hear their bell ring

Of course you never saw them ring since your only source of info is the video, and the camera was not on Mfantsipim at that time.

hmmmm, I would give you the benefit of the doubt but then from where the Persco fans were sitting nu, are you very sure that they rang? because the bell men and the stakeholders would and should have given them away.
