A 1967 HR Special was my first car purchased in 1978. I've owned Holden, Ford and many other makes and I guess you could say I'm not loyal to any particular brand. Although this day was well organised and I enjoyed my time viewing the cars and talking to owners, I must admit the All Ford Day was more enjoyable. The problem with a Holden event is we have all grown up with the brand and we are familiar with all our home grown models. What the Ford day does is bring so much more variety to the show from all over the world, cars we didn't design, build or sell locally. For me that made the day much more interesting.

mate, best for you to stick to the ford thing & not returning. Holden fans & car lovers attend for many reasons, not least of which is what you have mentioned 'we have all grown up with the brand' Fyi, that holden event attracted a crowd 5k in excess of the nsw ford day a few weeks ago..
