NSW Deer Opening Success (Fallow, Pigs & Wriggle Sticks)

After a few months of Scouting and Prep, I had an area of State forest targeted for the opening morning. The payoff was great with wild pork and venison in the freezer and few venomous snakes to keep me on my toes. Good times. If you enjoy my Video feel free to share it.

Out for a hunt last weekend in southern Vic and nearly stepped right on a snake lying in the sun, thank fuck it was a cold night/morning he didn’t move but Jesus it gets your heart going, I won’t bush bash without gaiters, beautiful animals love watching them but fucken hell

Fallow deer, the ghost of the bush, nice shot....They are the hardest deer to hunt in OZ... I only know a hand full of bow hunters that have taged a Fallow deer...

Awesome video mate, only eaten wild pig once and was because it was caught in a trap and given a drench to be safe. The snakes are a bit of a pain but i guess its a small price to pay for our lifestyle.

Has anyone ever told you, you look like an Aussie Manny Pacquiao? Haha Nice tiger snake and copperhead. Good to show viewers to keep a good distance, but like any animal if you don't get within striking distance or where an animal feels unsafe you will not be in any danger. We need to reduce the bad wrap snakes get so that people stop believing these myths that snakes chase people in Australia etc... Nice work! I look forward to watching more videos
