It's a very sparkly clean place, but unless there are trains running, there's nothing dynamic. Not even a model train running around, that always attracts visitors.

What were the small control cabins at the number 2 end of the 42 and 43 class used for?

I believe there is a set of controls there for moving the locos when they are in yards.
