I admire their passion and work ethics, talent.. They basicly spent few years doing "internship" in Germany, Austria and Sweden, far away from home, and yet they gave themselves 100 percent.

I was there and we met NSYNC several times and they recognized us. We had so much fun with them.

Lange ist es her. In den 90ern war das so ein Hype. Überall Boygroups. Danke fürs hochladen. NSYNC, BACKSTREET BOYS, CAUGHT IN THE ACT, THE BOYZ, BED AND BREAKFAST, TOUCHE, TAKE THAT, NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK und und und... das waren geniale Zeiten. Als man den Fernseher anmachte Viva oder MTV schaute am Wochende Rtl2 mit Bravo Tv.

Amazing how their own so-called “patriot” country didn’t give their own American boys a chance to showcased their talent, while the Germans and other Europeans open the door for Nsync and others to start their music career. Goes to show Europeans can see raw talent, while America only see bucks.
@Queron81 Жыл бұрын
I think that's because boy groups weren't that popular in the US back then (if not R'n'B groups, but they didn't really count as boy groups). The easiest market for boy groups was germany, as it was (and is) the biggest (economical strong) country in Europe with a big music market that was missing some music for the younger audience (especially girls). We had a lot of electronic music and dance acts, but they weren't for long term fan binding, more one hit wonders, but you sell more records (and merchandise) of acts with a lot of young fans. The US market was already full with very successful groups and singers. With the Backstreet Boys the popularity of boy groups in the US was growing, so NSYNC tried it later there. And I think the hits written by Max Martin helped a lot, also the swedish producers. So it was the right decision they started in Europe.

All respect to Chris but he almost always out of pitch 🤣. It’s kinda annoying. Never been a fan of him. But he put the group together so I guess he was necessary and I appreciate his humor on the interviews too. But if I was the sound technician I’d lower his mic a bit. 😂 sorry to the Chris stans
