It may be possible... For students in India... When it is already discussed by many experts...take newly published poem. then decide meter and scansion.frankly speaking for non native speakers it is not easy.. It is purely linguistic... And it is not easy talk about technical aspect of the language of the poem.... And even indian writers in English have suffered in this issue.
