It’s been 50 years since the first moon landing, as Neil said it was the giant leap for mankind, so far we don’t see it that way. Where is the giant leap for mankind to explore the space? It’s been 50 years that no one went back out to the space and the moon, so far only China could make it by 2030. China has their own space station. The international station is retiring soon.

@@Amaan_Ahmad_786 Nope! Try again? Proof NASA landed men on the Moon: 1. There are over 8,000 photos available to the public of the moon landing missions that could not have been faked. 2. There are thousands of hours of video too. 3. Hundreds of kilograms of lunar material that has been studied and verified by astronomers and geologists all over the world and showed chemical signs of being on the moon. 4. The LRRR data laser retroreflector arrays left by Apollo 11, and other subsequent Apollo missions, can still be interacted with today by using powerful enough lasers here on Earth. 5. The SELENE photos which show the damage to the lunar surface where we landed the Apollo missions. 6. The Chang'e 2 photos, which show the lander base. 7. Chandrayaan-2, which managed to photograph another Apollo lander base. 8. A group at Kettering Grammar School, using simple radio equipment, monitored Soviet and U.S. spacecraft and calculated their orbits. 9. Pic du Midi Observatory, which watched Apollo missions all the way to the moon. 10. The Lick Observatory observations during the return coast to Earth produced live television pictures broadcast to United States west coast viewers via KQED-TV in San Francisco 11. Larry Baysinger, a technician for WHAS radio in Louisville, Kentucky, independently detected and recorded transmissions between the Apollo 11 astronauts on the lunar surface and the Lunar Module. He could only detect messages FROM the lunar vehicles and not to them, cause the earth was between him and Huston. Also, backyard amateurs all around the world were able to tune in on the Apollo audio (not the video, that would have taken bigger hardware, but, the audio was easy) by pointing their Yagi and/or dishes at the moon. Hundreds (or maybe thousands?) of people in many countries did exactly that. 12. The Soviet Union, who monitored the missions at their Space Transmissions Corps, who's leader Vasily Mishin, in an interview for the article "The Moon Programme That Faltered", describes how the Soviet Moon programme dwindled after the Apollo landing. 13. The absurdity that thousands of people who worked on the Apollo missions would have to be kept silent for years and years without a single person coming forward to claim it was a fraud. 14. In October-November 1977, the Soviet radio telescope RATAN-600 observed all five transmitters of ALSEP scientific packages placed on the Moon surface by all Apollo landing missions excluding Apollo 11. Their selenographic coordinates and the transmitter power outputs (20 W were in agreement with the NASA reports). 15. Images taken by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter mission beginning in July 2009 show the six Apollo Lunar Module descent stages, Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package (ALSEP) science experiments, astronaut footpaths, and lunar rover tire tracks. These images are the most effective proof to date to rebut the "landing hoax" theories. Although this probe was indeed launched by NASA, the camera and the interpretation of the images are under the control of an academic group - the LROC Science Operations Center at Arizona State University, along with many other academic groups. At least some of these groups, such as the German Aerospace Center, Berlin, are not located in the US, and are not funded by the US government. 16. After the images shown here were taken, the LRO mission moved into a lower orbit for higher resolution camera work. All of the sites have since been re-imaged at higher resolution. Comparison of the original 16 mm 17. Apollo 17 LM camera footage during ascent to the 2011 LRO photos of the landing site show an almost exact match of the rover tracks. 18. Further imaging in 2012 shows the shadows cast by the flags planted by the astronauts on all Apollo landing sites. The exception is that of Apollo 11, which matches Buzz Aldrin's account of the flag being blown over by the lander's rocket exhaust on leaving the Moon. 19. Spain and Australia were 2/3rds of the DSN that received all of the TV broadcasts from the moon. 20. Dozens of tracking stations around the world (including from enemies) used radar and radio telescopes to track all of the missions. You can find more info about this on MIT's site. The tracking was accurate to within 1 mile. 21. Spain had the largest telescope on Earth at the time, and used it to photograph the SIVB fuel dumps around the moon (which spanned out for miles, thus were visible to a large enough telescope), as well as the Apollo 13 debris and gas field (same dynamic). 22. There are more than 100,000 photos taken from lunar orbit. 23. The Jodrell Bank Observatory tracked the movements of the Eagle Lunar Module from the beginning of its descent clear down to the lunar surface by monitoring the doppler shift in its telemetry signal. Do better, learn.

I love how people way that this was all made with CGI, but CGI in 1969 was equivalent to a 5 year old learning how to 3-D model from scratch.
@VicGChad07
@VicGChad07 Ай бұрын
CGI kinda improved in the 1970s -- for two-dimensional animation, there came the Scanimate system famously used on _The Electric Company._ As for 3D, it still looked pretty primitive for the most part (and even the more realistic models still lacked some details). The 1980s would improve significantly, and while 3D-rendered human-like models started hitting their stride, some lighting effects and details were still insufficient. The 1990s would be the turning point thanks to ILM and PIXAR.

Circular reasoning (Latin: _circulus in probando,_ "circle in proving"; also known as circular logic) is a logical fallacy in which Henry Durth and Lost Marbles begin with what they are trying to end with. Circular reasoning is not a formal logical fallacy, but a pragmatic defect in an argument whereby the premises are just as much in need of proof or evidence as the conclusion, and as a consequence the argument fails to persuade. Other ways to express this are that there is no reason to accept the premises unless one already believes the conclusion, or that the premises provide no independent ground or evidence for the conclusion. Circular reasoning is closely related to begging the question, and in modern usage the two generally refer to the same thing. Circular reasoning is often of the form: "A is true because B is true; B is true because A is true." Circularity can be difficult to detect if it involves a longer chain of propositions. An example of circular reasoning is: "No need to think about it. This footage proves [the moon landing is faked] beyond a shadow of doubt. Only the stupid believe it's true."

“MTV started four-and-a-half years ago. We thought it was important that the first image ever seen on the channel represent what we thought this new adventure was all about; the one image we all agreed upon was the space program. It stood for what we were doing and for what rock-and-roll had always done: to explore the outer limits of imagination with a passion for adventure and originality. “Everyone here remembers being glued to the screen when American astronauts first walked on the moon in the Summer of ‘69, so we adopted that image for our new channel. Every hour on the hour, we blasted off...then, last week, an image that had once represented only joy and triumph now touched us in a more complex way. Our first reaction, quite naturally, was to pull the shuttle footage off the air; with further discussion, we decided to continue to show our support for space exploration and sympathy for the families of that valiant crew. A week is coming down, and obviously, it’s just too painful to use as a channel identification, so we’ve taken it off the air. “Since before recorded history, human beings have looked to the stars for answers, to feel wandering, to feel at peace, and MTV will continue to honor all people who take a chance and will continue to support space exploration and the spirit that goes with it; it’s in that spirit that we move ahead.” --Tom Freston, then the General Manager of MTV: Music Television, addressing viewers in regard to pulling the space-themed idents following the _Challenger_ disaster Is that enough proof that we went to the moon?

@@KushLemon Proof humans have walked on the Moon: 1. @@nateriver7411 Look back at 2:04 . Who recorded, when the module launches to Earth? Such a small module, it is impossible to accommodate 1 car, 3 people, and all life support equipment. When launching, why wasn't the car parked near the module? It is impossible for the car to be brought back to Earth, because the Moon still has gravity and at launch as in 2:04 , the module must be in the lightest possible condition. Where's the car? Why didn't a single rover, either the Chinese rover or the American rover find the remains of the first landing? Logically, NASA would direct the rover to the first launch site (if any), to prove that American astronauts were indeed the first to land on the moon. No need for NASA. I will also logically trying to prove that is true that I have landed on the Moon, with all costs.

EVIDENCE CENSORED BY HENRY DURTH ET AL, BECAUSE IT'S ACTUALLY TRUE In September 2015, Buzz Aldrin gave an interview at the National Book Festival in Washington, D.C. Flat-Earthers misrepresented and quoted it out of context as if Buzz was admitting that the Apollo Moon landings never happened. The original interview was 17 minutes long, and there were other occasions Buzz clearly said the Moon landings happened, without any possibility of misinterpretation. The following is the transcript from the original interview: ZOEY: "Why has nobody been to the Moon in such a long time?" BUZZ: "That’s not an eight-years-old question, but my question. I want to know, but I think I know. We didn’t go there in such a long time, and that’s the way it happened. And if it didn’t happen in such a long time, it’s nice to know why it didn’t happen in such a long time. So, in the future, if we want to keep doing something, we need to know why something stopped in the past we want to keep it going. Money is the answer." The original interview was 17 minutes long. Unscrupulous flat-Earthers deliberately showed us a specific segment without giving it the proper context. In another part of the interview, Buzz clearly said several times that the Moon landings happened. BUZZ: "…so, we did send people in it around the Moon, then we sent people-another crew-to go around the Moon and then practice everything but landing. And then, a very fortunate person, many things going right in my life gave Neil Armstrong, Mike Collins, Buzz Aldrin the opportunity to make an attempt to make the first landing. All of us wanted to succeed, and we did …" This is merely a language problem. It is common that we omit a portion of the question in the answer to the question. In this case, the question was “Why has nobody been to the Moon in such a long time?” Buzz answered like “We did not go there because of money,” omitting the “in such a long time” part of the question. By examining the question, we can determine the context of Buzz’s answer. The modus operandi of these unscrupulous flat-Earthers was to omit the entire question and other parts of the interview, hoping that the viewers do not learn the context of the statement. Fortunately, viewers aren't buying the flat-Earthers' bullcrap.

"Now, there’s something else that is said after a death, but this one involves belief, which is where I begin to have big problems. This one happens after the funeral, after the burial, back at the house ... where the family and friends and the loved ones of the deceased are having some food and drink, and they’re enjoying some warm reminiscences of the person who passed away. Sooner or later, someone is bound to say the following, especially after a few drinks: 'You know, I think he’s up there now, smiling down at us, and I think he’s pleased.' Now, first of all, there is no 'up there' ... for people to be smiling down from. It’s _poetic._ It’s _quaint._ And I guess for superstitious people, it provides a little comfort, *but it doesn’t exist.* But if it _did,_ ... and if someone did somehow survive death in a non-physical form, I personally think he’d be far too busy with other celestial activities than to be standing around paradise smiling down on live people. What kind of fuckin' eternity is that? And why is it no one ever says, 'I think he’s _down_ there now, smiling _up_ at us.'? Apparently, it never occurs to people that their loved ones might be in Hell. Your parents could be in Hell right now. Your parents…your father, for sure. Oh, shit, Hell is full of dads -- ... even the ones that took you to the ballgame -- just for beating the shit out of you once too often and fuckin' the neighbor lady and fuckin' the neighbor dog, and who knows...maybe even fuckin' the UPS man. We’ll never know what mischief dad was up to. Parents in Hell. It kinda gives you a nice feeling, doesn’t it? It does _me._ _Grandparents_ in Hell -- picture _that._ Picture your grandmother in Hell, baking pies without an oven. And if someone were in Hell, I doubt very seriously he’d be smiling -- I think he’s down there now, screaming up at us, and I think he’s in severe pain." --George Carlin, pretty much disproving the existence of Heaven in his final stand-up show in 2008
