phiten40 that’s why I’m sayin run Marshall in the wildcat. He’s got the speed for it and he can sometimes throw it if he wants to but he is such a bad passer ratings wise so to have him at QB it makes the offense one dimensional

Hey NTE, to avoid losing alot of players by the negotiating contracts portion, just set it to automatic so the CPU does it for you. It would really suck to see good players go if you don't toss them enough money. Like so Big Ol Drewski can see

Weirdest thing happen to me today in Madden 18, I was playing my career mode as a HB and when I got tackle my leg was bend all the way to my head and I just got up like nothing happened.

You have to be careful about overpaying players. I'm not 100% sure of this, but I think Madden has a mechanic in place to where if you try to really overpay for a player they will test free agency. You're basically artificially raising their value by an overpay, so they will see if they can get more with a different team. A good real life example of this is Pryor with the Browns last season. I've had it happen several times before, so generally to lock down a player just raise their salary by 1 level and their bonus by 2 and they will almost always resign.

Now that Adam Vinateri is gone (probably will retire anyway) you should scout a kicker in the draft. Also, a good WR in the draft would be nice.

In my first year with Miami, Jarvis Landry tried to be a free agent but I hit him with the franchise tag. The next season he signed a 5 year contract. BTW, this game is mega-scripted. How about when they stall your kicker so the CPU can block the kick. Still fun though... P.S. If you're inside the 5-7 yard line, play goal line defense and pick the play GL Man. It's beast for stopping them.

I feel like Andrew Luck should be your primary QB bc all of your overthrown passes could more than likely be completed by Luck. But you should still use Marshall just less
