You should turn on defensive heatseeker and bump the amount up to like 150-180. It should help with missing lots of open field tackles :)

You can fair catch kickoffs from anywhere inside the 25 and get the ball on the 25. Don't have to let it bounce to the end zone or try to run it

Drew,, at 13:49, there is actually data the shows that you have a better chance of winning in 4th quarter situations like that had you gone for two. Thinking is that if you fail the 2-Pt conversion then a second TD and 2-Pt conversion would send it to overtime, assuming the opponent doesn't score or get the ball back, while a success means that you are down by 6 and a TD and extra point wins the game, again assuming the opponent doesn't score or get the ball back from an onside kick.

i feel like you should be using the possession catch feature more. Especially at deep balls where the wideout has a step on the defender. With the aggressive catch the wr will always jump which often then leads to drops in the end. Helped me a lot for sure, but takes some practice to understand when you have that half step that is enough, because otherwise those passes often get swatted away if the defender has good leverage.
