thanks, great data, looked like 57 amp max have you tried 8x6 on this motor

No I haven't. According to HobbyKing max current is 30A. I guess you could get away with it if you use a prop with slim profile blades, the one I used had quite wide blades. Still, I think that the motor was operating at saturation region at 57A.
