■ National Theater of Korea's Gugak Academy for Foreigners - What is “Let's Gugak”?
“Let's Gugak” is a video lecture program released by the National Theater of Korea's Gugak Academy for Foreigners. The program is designed to ease the difficulties of conducting on-site educational programs caused by the pandemic and help foreigners at home and abroad meet and understand the traditional Korean art, “Gugak.” Each subject - “Samullori Instrumental Music,” “Pansori,” and “Korean Dance” - is comprised of three videos and also includes one “Practice Video” per subject that allows repetitive practice.

📍 Learning the basic moves for the Gutgeorijangdan Rhythmic Cycle
Let’s learn the basic moves of Korean dance along with the Gutgeorijangdan Rhythmic Cycle. We learned about Gulshin and Gamgi in a previous lesson, so let’s connect them to the Didim, Megi, and Dwijibgi moves.

Let’s learn two more moves for the Gutgeorijangdan Rhythmic Cycle. “Turning one hand in front of your chest” and “Moving through Jajindidim.” Let’s link these slightly more advanced moves to finish the basic moves for the Gutgeorijangdan Rhythmic Cycle.
