The longterm mindset is what most Kenyans need. We haven't been taught to think longterm. We also have inbuilt fear of investing

Kevin keeps saying "for obvious reasons"- but to a layman there is nothing obvious about any particular field, mimi I need explanation like a class 1 when learning about a topic like this. Would have appreciated explanation rather than assumption that all viewers already know enough about stocks to understand what an expert might consider to be obvious

Thanks for this. The Lesson is learn to cut your losses and not being emotionally attached to an investment that is clearly not performing. @NTV. Kindly we can have another session on this topic. Thanks

As a trader, I feel there is too much strategy/theory being discussed here. I mean what they are saying is right but kwa ground its not as they make it look. Be ready to stick with losses for long and am sure we have all learnt from the dips that keep on dipping. But same thing possibility of profits is there. For those else where i would say try markets with more volatility and with stable economies. Take note of tax implications too.
@alisma778 ай бұрын
Yeah true. I was waiting for that part and unfortunately it wasn't discussed. Any idea where I can research on this? Or any info. about it will really appreciate
@Top_Ranking_Hustler8 ай бұрын
@@alisma77 Depends on where you are in the world but other countries have platforms such as ISA accounts but you must be tax resident in those coutries. But the movement in these stocks sometimes its global its only that the magnitude of the volatility is going to vary from stock to stock. Dont even get me started on the EV market and chinese stocks even taking higher hits. But as we all know the market always bounces back after a while. Case study recently Safaricom (12-19), Bamburi (28-48), Coop (11-15) you see what I mean. Its only that no one knows when its gonna happen. i would still insist buy low and if it deeps further keep averaging down if you can stomach the long periods of low volatility that is

The people making guaranteed profit in the stock market are listed companies and stock brokers. The "investors" are just there to pool funds and chew losses as they are told to 'be patient' You'd rather buy treasury bills of you have to invest

Guys in as much as u want to invest in shares,its better u take interest in how it works,trends,history, financial performance and market risks.Invest n take time to study the company,industry n news that might affect it...then u can adjust your decision also. Consider a margin of safety,loook at a good company which is undervalued,a good management.
