Thanks for this inspiring episode @ Sheila. Though I would like to inquire from Dr Bemuga about the cost advantages of having a motor driven cuff cutter to a diesel engine driven cuff cutter. I like the approach of developing your own breed through AI because ideally the best cow is birthed and nurtured at the farm but not bought. Also AI can improve the size of the animals if you consider the parameter of feed saved on the sire catalogue to give you a highly productive cow with less feed intake ( feed saved % on the catalogue)

@abelarinaitwe3815 The best advantage is you know the history of your animals, Cause breeding goes with very many characteristics especially feed intake, disease resistant, productivity of the animal either in milk or in calving (calf per year), You make choice for your animal your breed according to your capacity of looking after it, And many more ......, Thx for your information all members
