UPDF Chief David Muhoozi says the Army intervened during the Age limit debate to restore order

The Chief of Defence Forces Gen. David Muhoozi who appeared before the Constitutional Court sitting in Mbale, says the army had to intervene and remove some MPs from Parliament during the age limit debate in December 2017 to restore order.
The army chief who was being cross examined by the petitioners' lawyers also said he did not know that any MPs were injured in the scuffle in Parliament. The Police Director of Operations Asuman Mugenyi was also questioned on the police action of blocking opposition Members of Parliament from consulting jointly on the age limit bill.

Complete nonsense. The speaker is one to answer for the operations by security forces in parliament chambers. She asked security to take over a situation that was becoming uncontrollable, in parliament chambers by members who had been ejected out of parliament on behavioural grounds. These judges are such comedy. Clearly, you can see that one has a problem with the police and has expressed it in his comment about what he thinks the police has became. He is not here to judge. He’s in conflict. He shouldn’t be allowed to continue. I am protesting his removal.

Jokers. Asking the chief of defence force to come to this tiny court, to explain the forceful removal of hooligans out of parliament chambers, lower parliament, is a complete joke. This is not going anywhere. It is just a waste of taxpayers money. I would stop this nonsense and send everyone home. And spend the money on the slams dwellers in Kampala, healthcare and nodding disease in northern Uganda. Complete nonsense and waste of time.
