Veteran news anchor, Bbale Francis passes away

He is irreplaceable. Such is the legacy that veteran New Anchor and trainer Bbale francis leaves behind. He died this morning of cancer of the bladder, at the Mulago Cancer Institute. His diction and collected nature endeared him to millions of Ugandans who watched him for decades, present the English news on Uganda television, later Uganda Broadcasting Corporation. As NTV’s Solomon Serwanjja reports, over the years Bbale Francis became the quintessence of the television News Anchor.
