I think Khmer music should stop being used to incorporate into “Hmong” dancing. Yet they’re similar to Hmong, Lao, and Thai, but doesn’t mean it should be used for dancing competitions or during the Hmong new years or festivals. Hmong people are all open to other SEA etc, but I just think dancing like this to Khmer music is not it

Hmong festivals always encourage the dance teams to promote the Hmong culture by asking them to do one Hmong dance and the other ones is free style therefore they are open to do any dance styles. There’s nothing wrong with using Khmer music to dance to just like any southeast Asian music. It appears that the Khmer people love this dance therefore we should be happy that they support our Hmong dancers to use their music. If they enjoy it and see nothing wrong with the dance styles, we as Hmong people should embrace the different dance styles that our young talented dancers are able to showcase.

It’s called freestyle round. There’s nothing wrong with using Khmer music. Their outfits are somehow similar to Thai, and just like other teams dancing to Thai, Laos and Chinese.

Hi, not sure if you saw but the artist himself shared the video and was super happy and proud that his song was used. He shared that the dance was extremely beautiful followed by all of his fans that agreed with his statement. Perhaps you should take your "Sourness" elsewhere. @@__iiamKabLigNtuj Im Vietnamese in vietnam 🇻🇳 Honestly to me these languages is similar to each others so i dont know But my country is close to Laos 🇱🇦 hmong in laos is similar to hmong in vietnam 🇻🇳 but their language some some different, but culture is just same. Laos people 🇱🇦 is beautiful as well Hmong culture dress & Laos traditional culture is beautiful. Love to see they’re wearing traditional dress, its look gorgeous & beautiful Hope their youngful generation born & raise in oversea is proud of their culture, their roots, their looks, their dress. Being Asian or southeast asian is beautiful Nothing wrong with being Asian Asian is beautiful like anyone & any others race!! They shouldn’t let anyone tell them they’re not beautiful & ugly, its bullshit. Asian is bless, smart, colorful, hardworking & great culture, variety yummy foods & values oriented family!!
