@@disc0potato Pledis did not represent them properly (Like they do everyone who is under them pretty much) unfortunately After Schools lack of proper Promotion, Gigs, and mismanagement lead to the girls downfall the girls started individual promotions and Pledis pretty much gave up on them when they had a newer group

@@disc0potato Pledis cause the downfall of After School. AS was Kahi's baby, sweat ,blood & tears. She choose most of the members (except for Uee, E-young and Kaeun) , decided the concept, trained members, contacted music producer, worked on dance routine with the choreographer. But at the end was force to graduate because of Pledis mishandling of the group (adding members without her consent). And when she left AS didn't have someone with the same skills set to manage the group and Pledis who relied so much on Kahi simply let AS to died. Pledis is really not good with groups that don't self managed.

@@disc0potato After School is actually on hiatus until they can find a song worthy of an After School comeback to comeback with. Both @Sweetiekan Coral and @Christian CASTANE are just BSing. It was actually the members themselves that said After School hadn't come back yet until they find a good song so not Pledis. In the case when Raina said it, she said they were about to comeback and were even practicing for their comeback but decided what they had wasn't good enough so decided not to comeback yet. Pledis did a great job representing them and that is why they are well renown for their performing prowess and they done a very good job representing their other artists as well but lets stick to After School for this. Pledis did a fantastic job managing them and that why they still haven't disbanded even though After School fans want them to disband. After School fans want them to disband so much they refuse to accept that After School hasn't disbanded and called it an "unofficial disbandment". Pledis never gave up on After School and that's why they still haven't disbanded. The one that truly gave up on After School are the fans. Pledis didn't cause the downfall of After School, there never was a downfall of After School. What's happening is called quality control, After School is refusing to comeback until they find something worthy of an After School comeback. Kahi was not force to graduate, that is a load of BS made up by fans, Kahi basically graduated because people didn't understand her so she felt isolated and felt she had no one she can turn to. People think Kahi is scary because she is strict when it comes to training and practices but besided that she's really a softy. She's volunteer to do the dishes when she's seen how hard the younger ones worked on the dishes and that time when Raina and Nana (maknaes at the time) were playing around with unnies the unnies would clean up after wards instead of Kahi telling the maknaes to clean up which annoyed UEE. Pledis didn't let After School die and After School is not dead. Fan are the ones that want After School dead. Like I've previously said, it is the fans that want After School disbanded but Pledis refuses to disband After School and throughout these year fans would keep BSing After School disbanded BUT after school members keep telling fans After School has not disbanded like Jung Ah just before the reunion said that After School has not disbanded on Instagram live and last year Lizzy said that After School is not disbanded on IG live too and on Produce 48 Kaeun also said that After School has not disbanded. I've been arguing with After School fans and other Pledis artists' stans for about a decade now and all the claims they've made about Pledis being sh*t is a load of BS. They're is only proof that Pledis is a very good company and Pledis artists themselves are the ones that have said it. E.g. Kahi thanked Pledis CEO Han Sungsoo for making After School and said she love him along with other people. Nana said that Pledis is a company full of love and affection. Kyla said that Pledis is a very good and supportive company and she said she believes and everyone deserves a company that will support them like Pledis supported her. Kaeun said that Pledis CEO Han Sungsoo and Pledis family cherished and cared for her and Hello Venus guys said that Pledis CEO would buy them snacks and tell them to rest and take it easy while they were training. After School fans and other Pledis artists' stans are full of BS but they're too delusional and stupid to be aware of how BS their claims are. Also, one more thing, Pledis artists stans would reply with the BS that of course they'll only say good things about the company and not bad things, they work for Pledis. This is a load of BS because many idol have said bad things about their company like Henry asking help from his fans on SNS telling them that the last 9 years with SM was a mistake or Amber saying that SM continuously neglects her, hurts her and takes advantage of her. If Pledis really is as bad to After School as people have claimed throughout these years then they could have sued Pledis to get their contracts terminated like what Lee Haein and Lee Suhyun did with SS Entertainment but til this date, no Pledis artist or ex-Pledis artist have sued Pledis yet and contrary to that, they've only said good things about Pledis like Bekah during KCON 2013 saying that she really likes Pledis CEO, they never got into any arguments and they threw her a farewell party.

After School, and Nuest really were close since they were both first girl group and boy group of Pledis. I remember back then, when Nu'est debuted After School always support them. Then we got on how some seventeen members and Nu'est trained together. I also first got into after school then I'd now Minhyun because of Orange caramel song then I got to stan Nu'est after that. Then Nu'est introduce me to Seventeen TV Green Room. Currently, I'm enjoying and have been a spoiled carat by Seventeen.

Pledis really ruined After School and totally smashed Nu'est's trajectory, same with Pristin. Thankfully, Seventeen was constantly promoted until they met success. Pledis really created top level idols, artists! (self-producing and on hand with choreography), but the way they managed their talents was one of the industry's worst.

Pledis for me seemed like a that company that had/has great talents, but lack the experience in managing when the scale got bigger (more groups, potentially successfully ones back when these groups just debuted). They didn't have the resource like the bigger companies (SM, YG, JYP, Cube and FNC even), and I think that's what led to them 'mismanaging', not just the talents, but could also be be cause of funding the promotions for the artists (we all know it takes around 2 years to breakeven for a group). It's a great pity, and it's not easy, but I wished Pledis would've picked up the pieces faster than they should've to better manage NUEST (tho I'm glad they decided to give the boys another shot at P101) and Pristin. They were lucky with SVT as their 'self-producing' concept and the talented boys made it, but not without tough debut days too.

@K.G hmm perhaps I rmbed wrongly but I it was an interview I read whereby JR(?) mentioned that it was a mutual decision by both the members and Pledis to have them on P101 for that last try. I'm not trying to defend Pledis over here, but I wouldn't say they completely didn't give these boys a fair shot. I followed NU'EST since pre-debut so I loved it when they finally debuted. I mean, in the early days (when I rmb raving about them), the hype with these boys just weren't there, domestically and internationally, even when Sleep Talking, Action, Overcome etc. were released or even until tracks like Hello and Good Bye Bye. If you're into them, you would, but if you aren't, many wouldn't even bother checking them out. And I hate to say it but it is eventually a business to run, if a group isn't meeting margin lines, chances are very difficult to snatch. I'm just glad where these boys are at now, they deserve it!

aw i'm happy to see so many people loved After School. Pledis really did them so wrong. like tragically wrong. Also, if you think about it a lot of girl groups were the center of so many companies. JYP had Wonder Girls, SM had GG (they had TVXQ also but GG really took them places) and YG had 2NE1 and Big Bang. DSP had Kara and etc. Sad to see so many girl groups not make it even bigger because of their companies.

Pledis always had the nice concepts for their groups, they also have the visuals and talents tbh.. but they failed to promote them properly. Thus SVT becoming the only self producing idols.(Im a CARAT💖💎). If they had promoted them properly, Pledis would have been a big company too.
