My best guess would be that they were in a on again off again relationship with this song being during one of the ‘off’ periods and at the end they finally break the loop (ie the removing of a domino to stop the sequence). This would explain the infinity sign where everything keeps looping

Thank you for reacting to Nu'est! Romanticize is their album name. It's their second full album since 7 years cause it'd been mini albums in between. 10 songs, 5 are solos, and all are supposed to represent different type of romance in life, like from struggles of succeeding, to the joy of being oneself etc. About the song and MV (from my understanding); Some lyrics correlate to their 7th mini album (title track : Love me), like the sentence "I hate this street we danced together", opposing the one from Love Me "Just wanna dance with you on this empty street", and the 8th mini album (title track : I'm In Trouble) is about having someone in their mind a lot and it's troublesome, but also the feelings is strong and intense as in to also attract this person's attention?. Then we have this song, where it's about heartbreak/post-breakup. The number 8 is basically representing infinity (solidified by the mobius staircase before their logo at the end), and for me it shows how they're trapped in a loop of obsessing over this person, despite already losing them. They don't wanna be free but they don't want to be looked down on at the fact they can love again. That's probably why at the end, Baekho (the muscular guy) breaks the 8ball, Ren (blue hair) took out the 8 domino so the dominos stop falling midway (breaking the loop), then Minhyun (foxy eyes) runs at one scene like he's running away from this place and there's also him playing billiards with his eyes blindfolded probably as refusal to see this loop (not sure abt this one though lol). At the end when they show the empty untouched rooms, it's almost like that's what it would be like if they weren't in this loop and went to put their love in a different thing outside of this person. Of course these are all personal opinions lol. I have opinions on the choreo as well but this feels too long as it is already but thank you whoever read this far.

Hi can you react to Nu'est last title track "Again" or their full album Needle and Bubble? They disbanded on 14th march and released a song on 15th which is their tenth anniversary(this album is supposed to be anniversary album but their company did them dirty and disbanded them with 2 weeks notice).
