NU goes Arabian for UAAP cheer dance

The National University (NU) Cheer Squadron channeled the Arabian Nights as they gun for their best-ever finish in the UAAP Cheer Dance Competition Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
NU made history in last year's competition when they finished in third place for the first time.

One thing's for sure, NU already figured out how to win. Inspiration ito para sa ibang schools. Sana mas mapalakas pa nila both Boys and Girls, para mas mapataas din nila yung Difficulty. Pag ganon, sobrang deadly na nila, sila na kasi ang may pinakamataas na Skills.

Sa ayaw o sa gusto panalo na ang NU cause bukod sa malinis na magagaling pa ang mga stunts nila. Ang UP bagamat magaling at sobrang complicated ng stunts ay di parin nila nagawa ng maayos ang performance nila unlike NU super perfect nila. Walang doubt magaling talaga ang NU. Score palang sobrang taas na. Go nalang sa NU this coming UAAP CHEERDANCE COMPETITION 2014.

NU's score: 696.5 with no deductions UP's score: 620.5 with 18 pts deductions if malinis ang routine ng UP it would only sum up to 638.5 pts.. still 58 pts less than NU's total score.. so it was clear enough who won this trophy this year..

SIMULA ng pag LEVEL UP ng N.U. na Routine is 2011 DISNEY ALL THEME na si COACH GHEEKA na ang nag maniubra from FEU Member before to a Coach of N.U. at Present at yung 2011 CDC Routine na yun ang pinang Lampaso nila sa NCC 2012 na nag Champion sila.. Then 2012 CDC ARABIAN THEME is the START of the DYNASTY, which they brought up to 2019 Championships na hanggang ngayon they SET UP THE STANDARDS as a GYMNASTICS Sports ability. There's no LIFE kapag Walang NU. Aminin... When it comes talking about CHEERDANCE or CHEERLEADING.. NATIONAL UNIVERSITY BULLDOGS (NU PEP SQUAD) na ang nasa isip niyo.. Second is FEU which STILL in the PODIUM TOP 3 for a Decades now and thats an Epic.. and the ADAMSON UNIVERSITY FALCONS and UNIVERSITY of the EAST RED WARRIORS na still nagpapaligsahan sa 3rd Slot or 2nd Slot... after they performed, alam ko nang sila ang panalo. in all aspects, it was NU Pep Squad that was the clear cut winner. consistent ang movements and choreography to their concept. what's more, halimaw ang stunts pati ang transitions *they beat UP in this particular element* going to pyramids. i like the dance part as well. nakakaindak. :)

Woah! Their full twists are superb. Fast transitions and accurate movements, no wonder they are the champion. The tumblings sure has a lot of double full twists a good thing I think to increase the level of difficulty and the flexibility of the flyers are so damn great! Gotta love those arrow stance! LOL! I'm not a cheer expert or whatsoever but in my opinion I say that this is really a well deserved performance to win. Just wondering, it's a level 6 routine, isn't it?

NU deserves the title... They executed their routine as flawless as they can... That's their major improvement... Also they had their dance superbly choreographed and and they had balanced the collaboration and punk of cheering and dancing... Most who doesn't know well this sport can easily tell that NU doesn't deserve it that their routine is simple and safe, they thought that who brings most of the crowd with the loudest cheers always win but that's not how it goes. The routines look so simple
