Sup yall! Finally, I'm posting on a Sunday again, but man have I been gone for a very long time. I'll be making a video explaining why, but don't worry. :) I'm still advancing in the Nu Pogodi episodes slowly but surely :)
As usual, this episode was very cool. I liked it very much. I'm getting used to the characters and getting to know them as I watch :D.

When the Hare (in the pretended 'TV set') did expose himself, the Wolf didn't catch the Hare right now INTENTIONALLY, just to 'troll' the Hare a bit. The Wolf was confident that the Hare could not run away anymore, but still, the Wolf did prefer to 'play the handshake' to be sure. Just in case.

One thing I like about Ну, погоди! is that have good visual storytelling, so it can be easily watched by a person that doesn't know the language. For example, you don't need to read a sign over TV shop to understand that they went into TV shop.

Да уж... первый раз в Москве был, кажется в 1979-м. Мне тогда 9 лет было. Если не ошибаюсь, проезд в метро тогда 5 копеек стоил (автоматы по размену в вестибюлях стояли). И турникеты именно такие были, с двумя выскакивающими .. как их назвать то.. штангами, наверное. А уж мороженного Московского тогда объелся... в поезде мне плохо стало. :-) Сейчас 14 лет уже в Москве живу, перебрался из Архангельской области. Но тот первый раз в Москве, очень хорошо помню

The singing hare shown by the TV sets WASN'T the same Hare that was chased by the Wolf! The singing hare on the screens is evidently a bit older and taller. The easter egg beyond that: in USSR of 1970s, teen singing boys had ADORED to imitate Robertino Loretti and to sing his 'O sole mio' in the similar manner. But the comical relief of the scene is even more deep: unlike the teen singer on the TV show, 'our' specific Hare is too scared to sing adequately (usually he's a good teen singer, too, but he did notice in horror that all TV sets are put out and no one sings anymore!). and so, the poor panicking Hare does sing the refrain of 'O sole mio' terribly out of tune, and in the end, he was surprised by what kind of 'rooster' he just let go (russian singers' slang: 'TO LET GO A ROOSTER' = to have your voice catch and break during an UNINTENTIONALY tuneless, excessively high and screechy/squeaky/wheezy note, because of too-strained vocal cords), so the Hare says "Oh...", immediately after the bungled-up note.

'What was wrong with the first melon?' - The Hare couldn't get some correct sound from the first watermelon (knocking on it), so he just dismissed the first one (and the second one too) as probably not ripe enough.

In the subway (trying to 'trick' a photoelectric cell), the Wolf, luckily, didn't lose some part of his tail (some part of the spine!), he had lost nothing but some tail fur. Moreover, this exact Wolf has the ability to regenerate, and in the next episode we see him with the fur grown back again.
