52 years old today....makes me smile reading the appreciative comments from younger folks....most of the tunes are a decade and a half old at least for this set...compared to today’s stuff there’s a hell of a lot of Amen break in there.....not that I’m against it...just interesting how the technology has driven the music on, as it always does. Metrik’s album is the height of current production values for me at the moment tho

This is exactly the sound I fell madly in love with when I discovered D&B around 2003, 2004. I used to listen to those tunes for days and nights on end, always searching for something new and never getting tired of it. Every single one has memories attached to it. haha same. I was also 19 in 2004. It was about the time I moved to Bristol where it wasn't unusual for there to be multiple clubs hosting DJS on the same night! - it was hard to choose which one to go to. Then RUN @Native came along and it changed my life!
