Actually, the game plan of NU was to let DLSU rely on Laput for offense. High in points yes but efficiency is low. NU was willing to take that risk and it paid off. Coronel didn't activate the middles enough, it was the same mistake that led to their loss vs UST. The offense was predictable. Hindi yata sila natuto na middles ang naging key to victory ng FEU vs UST. Allergic yata magset si Coronel kay Gagate jusko. Nakalimutan na yata nila na si Gagate ang tumapos sa NU last year. If Coronel and de Leon don't step up, DLSU will end up in 4th place. Not even a podium finish 🤦🤦🤦

Watched this live, most of the set is dikit lang ang score, as in bawian lang. But sobrang inconsistent ng dlsu kanina except kay shevana, and dami nilang back row drop ball na hindi over both Shevana and Malaluan. Coronel was also converted into a spiker narin nung pinasok si Tolentino as setter. Kudos to Shevana she really tried to carry the team. Congrats to NU, well deserved win ❤

As a DLSU fan, I applaud NU's coordination which won them the night despite each team seemingly trying to one-up each other in terms of errors. Vange in particular has definitely leveled up in lethality from her S85 days. Haist kung kailan pa ako nanood ng live for the first time, ay kung kailan pa natalo ang team ko 😅😅 pero ok lang, the emotions throughout the game were well worth it, win or lose. The only thing I can't help but think of is CRDJ's bizarre subs. I mean, gets ko pa yung double setter since it was done before by F2 with KAF and Mars. But Lilay as OPP (effectively having triple MBs inside!) is just puzzling. Ni hindi na ipinasok si Maicah 😢 could've tried her floor defense against NU's aggression.
