Naalala ko ang unang song na pinatugtog nila is yung from Noiseworks na Love Lies. Mula booth blessing nila sa 17th Floor Solid Bank Bldg Paseo de Roxas St corner Ayala Ave Makati kung saan andun si Vicky Belo and Atom Henares pati mga DJs na sila Major Tom, Cris Cruise, Mark Noodle, Jerry Y, Gerry Dris etc.

NU 107 is an original New wave radio station which similar to WXB 102.

Some say that NU 107 was the spiritual successor to WXB 102 (inheriting the spirit of playing non stop New Wave music) which went off the air on June 9, 1987, however they eventually change their strategy and played more on Alternative and Grunge Rock and later on Pinoy Rock during the 90's.

1:42 i think Video Hot Tracks is the longest running locally made music video show. They're still airing even during the late 90's. 2:12 such an iconic Coca-Cola jingle. 😊 8:54 that's Rich New Supreme Chocolate Drink. I remember when i was in 2nd grade that's what i gave to my classmate as an exchange gift during our Christmas party at school hehehe. 😂

@@dantesEW actually it's a song or a short music video about the youth in the Philippines and around the world. It has an English version and the title of the song is Tomorrow's People. The song was intrepreted in different languages including Japanese. 🙂

Before Myx, there was a ABS-CBN Program called "Video Hot Tracks" featuring the Latest and Hottest Music Videos in 1988, it airs every Saturday from 3:00-4:00pm (1:41), now Myx has a Latest and Greatest Music Videos. I think NU107 is the 'Home of NU Rock'. Memories had fade!!!

Yes, Cris Cruise is working at NU from October 31, 1987 to November 7, 2010. From being a Disc Jockey and became Station Manager.

Yes, they were really grooving at that time. "Make it real" & "You got it all" were their smash hits and I often heard the songs being played on some FM stations thru the speakers of a tricycle I was riding on on my way to Loyola Heights.
