The chimera really gonna highlight the need for mythicals with all its trials. Only mythical kits can bring all the different things you need really. U gotta alternate your forms as the boss does. Maybe ill pull my first one some day lmao.

The 35 minute timer for 65 turns is probably because they were playing this at 1X speed. Live in game it’ll probably be half that time, which means this might be a daily boss.

Magmic Shield probably a Shield that causes HP Burn as well if you attack it. So protects you and burns the opponent.

i realy dont mind the instant battles added, it's so mutch to do in the game daily and weekly now, that there's already content i havent done in months or a year or at all, in the game because of that. so some quality to life was realy needed

Definitely some cool changes coming. Was really hoping to see the next faction come in to play and of course I would love to see 21 more levels to each faction crypt with a Lydia type mythical as that reward but I guess it's not on their agenda. Still some awesome stuff coming.

All this looks awesome honestly! Relics seem like they could either be an absolute mess or the best addition to Raid in a while, LA seasons can’t possibly make the gamemode worse, all QoL features seem awesome, especially instant Hydra for full auto players like myself, and forge changes to make my full storage or perception crafting materials go away, and then there’s the Chimera. This so depends on how the tasks are designed, but it seems like such a unique piece of content that could be super fun once people start figuring it out, just like Hydra was supposed to be. I’m really happy they’ll allow another plane of strategy other than “survive and do damage”, and I think it will be super fun!

I'm currently working my way up in live arena (silver 2) and I'm not thrilled about the point change. I would rather stay in silver for a bit, where my challenge level is decent and not be fast tracked into gold where I'll likely waste gems trying to get a win.

I don't mind the LA seasonal changes, as long they add the bot in gold too, cuz they really want you to get to gold and pretty much stay there once you're there, it'll be so much more frustrating if there's only players there, no one wants to lose 5 battle or more consecutively

6:35 Nubs, pay attention to the wording. The slayer set wording repeats the damage but it cannot crit and doesnt apply any on hit effects. This said "Repeats the attack" im assuming this would be a pseudo-second turn or at the very least its an entire 2nd instance of the skill meaning it can crit and on-hit effects will apply.

A bit nervous about the idea of being locked in Gold once you get up there for LA. I wonder if people will be able to maintain ~50% win rates at that level. I'm still climbing up Silver right now and it's fairly 50/50 as far as fights go so not sure if this will improve or worsen my experience. Overall I'm enjoying the game mode so pretty interested to see how the Seasons shape up. Hopefully they put in limited time restrictions to LA with these seasons to keep the mode fresh.

They add seasons to live arena but not tag team WTF! The pinch at gold for tag team is the dumbest! Add seasons to tag team or change the gate to percentage based not a hard line number cap! Come on! With the hydra instant battles it will be nice to at least allow for rerolling fights continuously if you have a good team that's just not super consistent on auto. Much as I like the hydra, and it's still my favorite bit of content in the game... but they've done some nasty work on it and now I've just been left letting it auto. But if i can regroup off of the instant battle that doesn't go well, we can just keep hitting it until the numbers go our way. Will at least be nice until hydra becomes fun again. Also as an edit, agree with nub. this boss does not need a clash, especially not from the get go. It's hard enough on paper as it is without stressing the pvp aspect.

For a couple games that would be the case but if there was no clash you would get less rewards than if there is a clash, if your clan cant keep up you get the normal rewards, if your clan can keep up and theres no clash you get the normal rewards... the addition of clash means endgame players will get better rewards for their efforts and keep them above the average or with more respect to goof around with the materials given for the time/money put in. All depends on how you see this game but raid is objectively not a fair game, you should not expect to catch up to players with years over you unless youre really good, they deserve the respect of a couple more rewards over time.

Dang that's a BIG update. Background multibattles are hype. Relics are going to be such a huge power creep, and even more tied to LA and siege, so not sure what to think about it. Hopefully we'll get enough materials from the Chimera. New boss looks mad, including a clash for the beginning and the fragments from the mythical in there is bad though. If the clash also only rewards the top 3 clans it'll be nasty.

So instead of overhauling all the abysmal gear in the game, they're just adding more needlessly complicated crap on top of it. The game really doesn't need more gambling minigames. Relics could be cool if they gave you a tool for speed tuning that didn't require a degree in mathematics. Like just let me set my champ's speed number to anything lower than the max number the champ's gear allows. Instant battles might as well be the devs coming to my house and punching me in the mouth since I'll never be good enough to unlock them.
