Cool design. I think if you allowed for attachment points on the underside where you were talking about adding another shelf, you could possibly make a basket weave out of bungee or use some type of fabric to add another shelf. This would allow you to leave that area open if you needed the height, but if you need storage then you can add the secondary shelf. You could achieve these attachment points with a peg or screw. You could also add T-track to the legs/shelf area for more accessories. Make sure you're able to make useable space beside the platform as well. This area is often overlooked and is such a prime spot for storage. Edit: Came back to add this. If you place a diagonal angle piece on the sides you could, in theory, completely remove the front bar entirely making room for possibly a cooler.

You mean like do gussets instead of a front intermediate horizontal? That could work.

@@redclayoutdoors I believe it could. NuCanoe also sells a quick disconnect bracket for the fusion 360 seat meaning you could still have a chair that's storable under the platform when you reach your fishing spot.
