Nuclear Option - SAH-46 Chicane Somersault Attack

I just found this game, and I went from the first few tutorial missions to the first chicane mission and basically swan dived into the ocean after taking off... Do you have any tips for flying normally and working to maneuvers like this? I almost understand rpm and collective but not all the way

This video is pretty good and might help understanding helicopters and how they move better: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKXHn6SQnLCUZqc Helicopters require a pretty different mindset to fly compared to airplanes. If you have Discord, I recommend you come visit at the Nuclear Option Discord server if you have not already. There are a lot of friendly people there who can help you learn stuff. You can access the server by clicking the Discord button on the game's main menu :)

Forgot to mention: First thing I would recommend is that you practice flight on the Free Flight mission. This is mainly because it will allow you to fully focus, 100% on practicing the flight itself first, without having to worry about shooting, getting shot or running out of budget. That way you can gain some agility and "feel" with how the aircraft moves, testing its limits at your own pace. Once you are familiarized with that, it will come more naturally later when you try to use it in a combat situation, allowing you to divide your focus better.
